Our clinical, laboratory and consultancy services

The Institute for Immunology and Infectious Diseases is located on Murdoch University’s South Street campus. From here, we provide a range of services:

• Clinical services – We provide specialist care of patients with Immunological and Infectious Diseases including HIV infection.
• Laboratory services – We perform cellular PBMC separations , ELISpot assays and flow cytometry. In molecular science, we perform nucleic acid extractions, PCRs, HLA sequence-based typing and viral sequencing.

Our research and development program and diagnositic services are accredited by NATA, the National Association of Testing Authorities, and our HLA typing is accredited by ASHI, the American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics.
